Old School Death Metal
DEATHPATH was founded in July 2016 in Palma, Mallorca. The aim was to play classic death metal.After the first discovery phase and the first line-up changes, they were ready for their first gigs in autumn 2017 and quickly gained a reputation in the local scene.In 2018, the band started recording their first album "Summonig the Beast", which was released in July 2019. More gigs followed and the band got more attention, even beyond the borders of Spain. The first offers from labels came in, but the band didn't take them up yet. In spring 2020, when the band wanted to cross the pond to the mainland, Corona unfortunately intervened and the band was forced to amuse themselves in the rehearsal room.The band used the time to work on the new album "Hate Within", which was recorded at the end of 2021. The album was mixed by Michael Hahn at Rosenquarz Studios in Lübeck.
